The Pro Breaking Tour is a series of professional Breaking competitions which began in 2014 as part of an initiative to create a self-sustaining industry around the sport. In the 8 years since its inception, the Pro Breaking Tour has hosted upwards of 300 prize-money Breaking competitions throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe, creating a job mini-ecosystem and bringing awareness and exposure to the sport and its culture. The Tour features thousands of registered competitors from a variety of backgrounds and international locations, and seeks to continue expanding its reach and influence as the community (and the world) prepare to witness Breaking make its debut in the 2024 Summer Olympics.

The Pro Breaking Tour Open represents the penultimate event of the tour, with the final event taking place in Los Angeles at Freestyle Session 2022.
