At the age of fifteen in Marietta Georgia, Rich Robinson wrote what would be become The Black Crowes first hit, the immortal “She Talks To Angels.” Since then Robinsons songwriting has proved itself time and time again, and taken him to increasingly exciting places over the last twenty years. Through his work with The Black Crowes and three solo records he has held his standards high and gained a following as a one of the best Rock and Roll songwriters around.
Robinson’s sound blends a low down southern rock crunch and an ear for dramatic melody. It gelled in The Black Crowes, and has matured with him as he’s made the decade long transition into a solo singer songwriter. Though kept busy by a world tour with The Crowes in 2013, Robinson tirelessly tracked The Ceaseless Sight, his third solo record. The record (set to be released in early June) and accompanying tour are sure to show Robinson at his best; a mature and deeply driven musician.
