Popular lunchtime playreading series Play With Your Food opens the door to its 2020 season on January 14 at Fairfield Theatre Company (70 Sanford St.) with additional performances February 11, March 10 and April 21. A delicious lunch catered by local restaurants begins at 12 noon followed by three irresistible one-act plays read by professional actors, many of whom hail from Broadway, film and television. The performance concludes with a talkback with the cast and Artistic Director. January plays in Fairfield include The Bridge Play by Danielle Trzcinski, The Gun Play by David Auburn and Hard to be Happy by Julianne Homokay. Lunch on Jan 14 will be catered by The Pantry with coffee donated by Starbucks! All performances: 12 pm – 1:30 pm.
